Stage Hazards[]
When playing as Freudia the stage has Super Mario Bros. like swimming mechanics and takes on a rather different tone than the rest of the game. That aside the stage has numerous needles and spikes to swim around and in one section has Freudia get sucked along a current and have forces her to dodge things very quickly. When playing as Pamela she does not swim and the player must wall kick and dash their way through the stage. The stage also has Donut Lifts from the Mario series but they are only really a threat to Pamela.

Trivia[]
- The Heiligtum des Wasserteufels bears many references to aquatic-themed staged in the original Mega Man series, such as Bubble Man from Mega Man 2 and Dive Man from Mega Man 4.
- A clear reference to Dive Man's stage from Mega Man 4 is the spike-filled pit that leads to the Black Forest's Treasure that Spiritia can obtain which allows her to call Lilli to assist her. This portion of the stage was modeled after the spike pit within Dive Man's stage that leads to Mega Man's Wire Adapter in Mega Man 4.
- The Heiligtum des Wasserteufels is one of two stages in Rosenkreuzstilette that features two branching routes, the other being Zeppelin Stage 4.
- The lower route's layout somewhat resembles the second half of Pharaoh Man's stage in Mega Man 4. The player will also fight Trauare underwater at the end of the lower route.
- The Heiligtum is also the only stage to contain the Black Forest's Treasure in the original Rosenkreuzstilette.
