As I noted multiple times in this topic, we don't have an admin, and haven't had one for years. We've been extremely lucky that a vandal strike hasn't come by, and that Sannse cleared out the stuff to be deleted, but we do need someone here at the wiki to do that kinda thing regularly. Now, as a guy with just the trial for RKS1, who isn't very active and has no real drive, I don't feel I am best for the job. So I come here now to beg all of you to come here and discuss just how we should go about doing this. Who should be the one to take the old admin's place. Come on people, I know there are only a handful of us, but I don't want this wiki to fall into ruin. --Otherarrow (talk) 21:54, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

After a few days, and with the only activity from users other than me being hype over an April Fool's joke, I have to add that I take back my comment about not being the best for the job. As vain as it sounds, if everyone else is only going to be active in short bursts based on outside happenings, then I feel that, as someone who at least checks in regularly, I should at least be in the running. Sorry for the trouble.--Otherarrow (talk) 20:33, March 31, 2013 (UTC)

I see what you mean there, and I know how you feel. By the way, the new Rosenkreuzstilette Lustatem page isn't the only page relating to April Fool's jokes that was put on the wiki. There's also the April Fool's shots from the RKSF April Fool's site, as well as the shots relating to that "Karl mode" joke from two years ago that WOMI didn't finish in time. I just don't want to think you're mad, that's all. Kirbyfan103 (talk) 22:10, March 31, 2013 (UTC)

Oh, I am not mad, it was just sorta a trend I noticed. Things usually don't happen here on the wiki unless something happened elsewhere, like an April Fools joke or the announcement/release of a new game. Meanwhile, an admin has to be around as much as possible to fix things and delete stuff if needed. I hope you get what I mean. Someone who only comes around when something is happening probably shouldn't be the one entrusted with admin rights. No offense.--Otherarrow (talk) 22:20, March 31, 2013 (UTC)
I check it weekly or so but unless there's something worth posting I don't post, occasionally if I find a typo somewhere or something I'll fix it but I'm probably not the right guy for the job as should be apparent I sort of suck at the format for editing too so that along should disqualify me.EGGER (talk) 01:51, April 1, 2013 (UTC)

It's been little over a week since I put this forum page up and...we haven't reached a consensus of any kind. Forgive me if this comes off as presumptuous, but allow me to be bold: Would you guys be OK if I nominated myself to adopt the wiki? Would you guys be down with that, or would you rather someone else? Come on folks, let's get somewhere.--Otherarrow (talk) 23:50, April 5, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry to bump this again, but no one has said anything! I know we still have some users still around! Anyone?--Otherarrow (talk) 15:34, April 18, 2013 (UTC)

Conclusion[]

I just want to let you guys know that after so long without any input, I went ahead and asked to adopt the wiki myself. I hope this doesn't cause any problems, and if you guys need me to do anything, feel free to ask.--Otherarrow (talk) 01:46, May 25, 2013 (UTC)
