The Lizard is a recurring enemy in the Rosenkreuzstilette series.
They are reptilian monsters with spiky hair that chase after the player by hopping. Lizards come in two color variations depending on setting. Normal lizards have green skin, yellow underbellies and orange hair, while lizards in colder climates, dubbed Snow Lizards, have white skin, light purple underbellies, and blue hair. Despite the different colorization, there are no difference between the two types of lizards in terms of gameplay.
In Rosenkreuzstilette, they appear in the Nosdu Mountains (Zorne's stage) and The Fortress City of Zuverburg (Sichte's stage), while the snow variant appears in the Snowfield (Freudia's stage). In Freudenstachel, they appear in Gruft der Feurdrache (Zorne's stage) and the snow variant appears in the White Wasteland (Liebea's stage).
They bear resemblance to the the Pengu Bombers from Mega Man 3, though they lack the ability to shoot bombs.
