Spiritia Rosenberg in the flying fortress known as Sleipnir.

The floating sky palace known as Luftfeste Sleipnir (German meaning for Sky Fortress Sleipnir), is the setting for Luste Teuber's stage. It is a grand white palace floating in the sky with many disappearing and falling platforms. Floating islands can be seen in the background of Sleipnir itself.

Stage Hazards

In addition to numerous bottomless pits Luste's stage features platforms that rise up and downwards. Towards the end of the stage they're combined with destroyable bloks to create a section rather similar to Dust Man's trash compactor in Mega Man 4.

  • Luftfeste Sleipnir is named after the mythical creature, Sleipnir, the eight-legged steed of Odin in Norse mythology. Sleipnir was the child of Odin's foster son Loki and Svadilfari, the best and brightest of the Frost Giants' steeds.
  • Luftfeste Sleipnir alludes to many air-themed stages from the Mega Man franchise, such as Air Man from Mega Man 2 and Storm Eagle from Mega Man X.
  • The floating island at the game's climax bears a striking resemblance to the islands in the background of the last area of Luftfeste Sleipnir before the chamber leading to Luste, so the floating island could very well be located near Sleipnir itself.
