The Octopus is a recurring enemy in the Rosenkreuzstilette series.
Like the Crawling Skull, the small red octopus will move back and forth on a platform, speeding up when the player is on the same platform as it. Unlike the Crawling Skull, however, the Octopus can be killed by traditional means.
In Rosenkreuzstilette, the Octopus is found in Heiligtum des Wasserteufels (Trauare's stage) and the fourth stage of Zeppelin's Castle. In Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel, it is again found in Heiligtum des Wasserteufels.
